Frequently Asked Questions

 

1) Opening up received goods

When opening up your product(s) you received from Ed’s-Style, please do not use any sharp objects that can cut across the carton into the plastic wrapping around the clothing. Please be cautious since our products are well wrapped but cannot withstand ‘just anything’!

 

2) Colors of the products in reality, versus colors on the images on our website

The colors of our clothes in the pictures may be slightly different from the colors in reality. This is because the images are processed for optimal viewing via the (computer, tablet, smartphone and / or iDevices) screen used by most.

This can and will therefore never be a reason we accept taking back any products.

 

3) Shipping and delivery moments

Our delivery terms are currently between 1 to 2 (working) days. For products ordered during the weekends it can obviously take a little longer. We currently do not receive any complaints from people but we are looking at how we can reduce shipping times.
New: Orders before 12:00 will be shipped the same day!

 

4) The size you’re looking for not in the (size)list?

Looking for your size and condition that is not listed? That means that size is temporarily sold out!

Do you want to be kept informed when your size is available again? Please let us know and fill in this contact form and let us know in the text field which pants (type, size and color you’re interested in buying.

 

5) What is the status of my order?

If you placed an order at our Ed’s-Style webshop and filled in your e-mail, we immediately send you an order confirmation by email. This order confirmation contains your order number and you’ll find a summary of your order.

If your order is ready for shipment you again will receive an Ed’s-Style email with the details of the shipment. You can track the shipping of your order via Parcel.nl. You can always log in at the Ed’s-Style webshop and check the list of the last previous order (s). If you click on an order number, you can check online the status of your order.

 

6) Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately you can not cancel your order. If you see reason to send it back you do have the customer right however to send back the product(s) -in the original wrapping- for a period of 30 days after the date of purchase. The product(s) of course can NOT be torn, stained, dirty or worn out. It has to be in the very same state you bought it in at the day of purchase.

You can send it back during the ‘cool off 14 day period‘ right after receiving the products at your home. Read the information about how to return the garments and follow the procedure described. Please in ‘new state’ within 14 days from the day of purchase, at your own cost! See also ‘Terms of Conditions‘ under chapter: “Artikel 6 – Herroepingsrecht” and “Artikel 7 – Kosten in geval van herroeping”

 

 7) Are prices including VAT?

Yes, all prices mentioned on the Ed’s-Style webshop are including dutch 21% VAT.

 

8) Color instability while washing

Washing the pants sold by Ed’s Style can possibly result in little loss of dye during the washing process. The color dye may possibly adversely affect the colored side panels.  This unfortunately is unavoidable and therefore is not included in the Ed’s-style warranty. Clothes can and will never be taken back by Ed’s-Style for this very reason (s) as the dye coming of during washing is never that much, it could ruin the garment completely!

 

 9) Returning garments

In the case of returning garments to Ed’s-Style, please wrap and pack the garments in the original packaging in which you received the garments from us when you bought it/them. Add to this the invoice (or copy thereof) from the garments you received from us the moment you bought it/them. Like this, when receiving your package, we know who it send it and what should be done with it.

Preferably do send the return package in a traceable way when shipping it back to us, like for example the PostNL track ‘n trace system. If ever it gets lost, we can easily find your lost packets. If you do not know exactly how you return it traceable, just ask PostNL when sending back your product(s).

If you want to return garments to Ed’s-Style we kindly ask you to:

  1. Create your account by registering at our website under the ‘My Account‘ option (top most left of the webshop page)  
  2. On the ‘Returning Garments‘ page is explained what you need to do to fill in the ‘Returns Form’. Please fill in the form as explained there
  3. Join (a copy of) the invoice with the return package
  4. Way to contact you (telephone handy number!)

 

10) Conditions for return goods 

Products can be sent back to us if the product(s) have been treated in a  ‘honorable fashion’, meaning the product only has be unpacked / unwrapped to fit on. Product(s) have to be in the ‘state of new’, without traces of wear and tear, without stains. Within one week to 10 days (maximum 30 days) you should be refunded.

Before returning goods to Ed’s-Style, please first check Terms & Conditions, Article 7.

 

11) Length size(s)

Do have a good look in the Ed’s-Style Size chart! We did our utmost to clearify different sizes and lengths. If you still have any questions, do not hesitate to contact or mail us.

 

12) (Web)shops owners wishing to sell our products 

 Please fill out our Contact Form to tell us what kind of (web)shop you own, which color combination(s) you would want to sell; we will contact you as soon as possible.

 

13) Ed’s-Style shop(s)

We currently run only our webshop; no physical locations can be visited. The same goes for collecting / returning goods; these are handled by mail / postal services.

 

14) Calling us won’t speed up things 

 If you want to get in touch with us we advise you to do so by mail or our Contact Form. If you call us by phone it is more then very likely we  have no time for you. This is because we have no helpdesk or support desk which means that we are busy packing and shipping of goods!.

Just fill out our Contact Form or send us a mail at: Ed’s-Style and we’ll answer your inquiry as soon as possible.

 

15) Complaints

 The very same applies to complaints, an email in a normal and reasonable tone to: Ed’s-Style.  We’ll be answering you as soon as possible

 

16) Webshop certication(s)

 Currently we are busy with the necessary procedures to get the dutch Thuiswinkel.org Foundation and Stichting Webshop. This is important in order to stand much stronger and more reliable in the webshop fashion market. The procedures will take an average of 4 to 6 weeks before a site is approved. So you understand that it may take some time before we are able to obtain the necessary certification (s) for our site! 

 

17) Thing, remarks not available in our F.A.Q.

If you have any questions, comments, complaints or suggestions about your order or procedures at the Ed’s-style shop? Please do let us know by sending an e-mail to: Ed’s-Style. Our customer service will then contact you as soon as possible to answer your questions. In the mail please indicate your phone (handy!) number; then you will be called back as soon as possible by a member of our customer service. If you email us, please already state in your mail what the problem(s) are so we know what’s going on! 

 

18) Payment disputes

 Ed’s-style has contracted the dutch PSP (Payment Service Provider) Pay.nl, a company that takes care of the payment procedures with companies like iDeal and Paypal.

If  you have any questions concerning payments to Ed’s-Style via Pay.nl, you can contact the litigation department of Pay.nl. Of course we are always prepared to consult and jointly search (and find) a solution satisfactory to both parties!
